Connor has interned for Escambia County Commissioner Doug Underhill, assisting with constituent services and policy research. He has also worked with Commissioner Steve Stroberger, gaining valuable experience in local government and community development.
In 2022, Connor ran for a seat on the Escambia County School Board. Motivated by a desire to address the teacher shortage and improve salaries, his campaign helped spotlight key issues in local education—even though he did not win the race.
